[squid-users] Relation between memory and cache disk space ...

I am running Squid-2.4STABLE4 on RedHat 7.2. My cache size is 30GB and I am using cache_mem 8 MB default one.
I do not know whether is it enough ? or does it create any performance issue ? what it should be ?

Is there any documentation available for memory usage by squid OR
Can u suggest me the calculation ?
