If your redirectors are crashing then you need to have the redirectors
fixed before Squid can function properly in combination with the
redirector.
There is very little Squid can do about crashing redirectors, except
complain loudly.
The scsi message is most likely unrelated.
To debug your redirector I recommend running the redirector manually
with debugging enabled. The format of the requests Squid sends to
redirectors is documented in the Squid FAQ.
You should also be able to get help with analyzing your redirector
problem by querying the proper mailing-list for the redirector you are
using.
