[squid-users] Squid 2.4 Stable 4 under Solaris 5.6

I use Squid 2.4 Stable 4 on a sparc-box and it works fine,
only if i will connect by IE5.0/5.5 to an apache 1.3.12 by an
user/password- Authentication, i get a timeout.

under squid 2.2 Stable 1 i get a timeout with TCP_MISS 000.

Authentification using Netscape is successfull. But I can?t change the
browser.
So i think, this is a solaris problem. I compiled the same source on
an
HP-UX-Box and use it with the same configuration. The connection with
IE works well.

I looked at different sources, but i can?t found any suggestions.

May be i need to tune the TCP-stack,
