You refer to FAQ 4.8, don't you? It says it is current for version 2.2, we
use 2.5. Well, there is a firewall but no parent proxy. Anyway, this doesn't
explain to me why everything was working before. My problem just occured
after I've put these ACLs into external files. I cannot find any differences
to the former state unless those external files.

Are you behind a parent proxy firewall? If so don't forget to tell this
little detail to Squid.. (see FAQ)
