[squid-users] squid dead but subsys locked

Hi All,

I need an urgent help, I appreciate if someone do..

Squid 2.5 Stable5 is dying for a reason that I dont know, and cannot get up
again.

When I check "service squid status", I receive message below; "squid dead
but subsys locked
squid: ERROR: Could not send signal 0 to process 2512: (3) No such process"

There is no /var/run/squid.pid file to delete..
