The squid_ldap_auth helper shipped with Squid-2.5.STABLE3 supports
LDAPv3/TLS if your LDAP C API library does. It also supports LDAPv2 over
SSL (port 636) if using the Netscape LDAP API, but not if using the
OpenLDAP API.
The squid_ldap_auth helper shipped with Squid-3 supports LDAPv2 over SSL
when using the OpenLDAP API.
The squid_ldap_atuh helper shipped with Squid-2.5.STABLE2 or earlier
does NOT support either TLS or SSL.

See the squid_ldap_auth documentation for a version where this is
supported. Documentation is included with the helper in form of a man
page.
