now u mentioned it, i just did a check, i also did a squid-2.5-stable3
compile, with many options as u can see, my size is 8983599, i think its
normal, considering the new improvements and patches done on the code, the
development size, well just as u said, i concur
Maybe Henrik will be in a better position to say, but i think its normal,
works for me and am happy -:)
my config
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-dl-malloc
--enable-delay-pools --enable-gnuregex --enable-useragent-log --enable-ssl
--enable-linux-netfilter --enable-underscores --enable-removal-policies
