Just installed a new squid with 128 threads and no difference. Here is
the output of squid -v:
configure options: --enable-dlmalloc --enable-gnuregex
--enable-xmalloc-statistics
--enable-async-io=128 --enable-delay-pools --enable-useragent-log
--enable-referer
-log --disable-wccp --enable-snmp
Here is the last few entries in cache.log. I did a bit of concentrated
surfing - flicking between several websites when this was happening
(there are about 6 other test users of the cache):
