You are totally wrong: the title of Microsoft article is:
"Unable to Negotiate Kerberos Authentication After Upgrading to Internet
Explorer 6"
Squid doesn't use Kerberos but NTLM !
(And Kerberos is available only on Windows 2000 and later)
