Hi !
I'd like to get your help with configuring my squid. We have two Internet
connections. A leased line (for our WWW and mail) which is only 64k and a
DSL which is fast.
Squid is sitting on the DSL gw and has two parent settings. One for our
own homepage (request it on the LAN not through the Internet) and a local
one for some admin stuff which points to itself with another port number.
What I'd like to do is: squid should use its direct connection with the
DSL normally. (No parent, direct connection => default gw). If the DSL
goes down (it happens quite often) I'd like it to forward requests to our
backup proxy which uses the leased line.
Can this be done without hacking ? (ACLs and other things)
Might be a lame question but I have no idea... :/
