What is your dns problem with squid ? I can give it a go trying to help you

Hmm, do you have an example of doing this enabling? I have the
following 'acl' to allow my 192.168.x machines to talk to SQUID:
acl mynetwork src 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
I'm trying to solve a DNS problem that I'm having with SQUID. :)
