[squid-users] Looking for L4 switch solution

Hi All:
 Can any of you recommend a web cache redirector appliance?
(Some cheap L4 switch). At this point in time, this feature
is not possible on our core centre router and I am thinking of
building a Linux bridge to put it in line for this purpose.
Has anyone done this? Would it work?
