It depends
- if your browser has a ftp proxy set with the squid address and port,
then squid will make the connection, and cacje ftp://ftp.abc.com/abc.zip
- if your browser does not have a ftp proxy set with the squid address
and port,
then squid will never know that you went to ftp://ftp.abc.com/abc.zip
