On Win2K, with IE, if i try to go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
it doesn't work. But if i try to go to
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (without the trailing slash) it
works.
I'm not using Squid for that machine, but maybe this info will help you.
