You need to configure proxy1 to have a cache_peer entry for proxy2 with the
sibling tag at the end
on proxy2 you need to have a cache_peer entry for proxy1 with the parent tag
at the end

Andrew

Hi Brian/Andrew:
I've copied/pasted the following in proxy2 (do I have to set anything in
proxy1? the manual does not say anything):
cache_peer proxy1.delmonte-phil.com parent 3128 0 no-query default
acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
never_direct allow all
Using proxy2 then, I still cannot connect. Looking at squid/cache.log, I get
the following errors. What gives?
2001/07/09 10:41:40| DNS Socket created on FD 1

RTFM:
How do I configure Squid forward all requests to another proxy?
