The CARP querying does not return HIT/MISS information about the
upstream caches under any circumstances.
So if two downstream caches are sharing two upstream parents, unless
both downstream are bith using CARP, with the same load shares, the CARP
benefits will be largely lost.

The querying it does do is only configuration information.
