Depends on what you want.
domain.com matches exacly domain.com and only that. Sobdomains or host
names under the domain is not matched.
.domain.com mathes the whole domain domain.com including ay subdomains
or host in the domain, and the domain name alone.
So in most cases it is with a dot, except when you are maching a
specific web server then it is without the dot.
