Hi
We use WCCP and one advantage I like is that it fails-safe if the proxy
machine goes down - i.e. users browse the web directly. You can probably
set this up with transparent proxy, but I think it would be more
complicated.

Subject: Transparent Vs WCCP
Hi all ,
am a little confused, transparent proxying and WCCP whats the real
difference
, implementing both with cisco will do the same --->
redirect web traffic to cache engine (squid proxy) transparently to users
(correct me if am wrong)then which is better ???
