like ..

> /cache_dir/swap.stat

and then use /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -z
and in last start the squid process by RunCache script.

  I'm not quite sure why you'd want to do this, but you could....

  1. shut down squid
  2. delete all files and sub-directories from your cache directory/directories, leaving behind the cache directory itself with nothing else in it.

  3. run "squid -z" to build a fresh set of cache files.

  I think that'll do it.
