Yes. Only problem is that Squid-2.2 is not very fond of using non-ICP
peers, but it is doable.

cache_peer your.parent.proxy 8080 0 no-query
prefer_direct off

If you must go thru the parent proxy (i.e. inside a firewall) then use
"never_direct allow all" in place of "prefer_direct off".
