ftp and MIME-type recognition in Squid v2.1.PATCH1 ....

Dear all,

I'm getting complains from my users that on some occasions Squid v2.1.PATCH1
is not returning the right MIME-type of text-files on a FTP-server.. (with
e.g. Netscape v3.0)
E.g. on ftp://www.cogsci.soton.ac.uk/pub/psycoloquy/1998.volume.9/ the
file psyc.98.9.06.connectionist-explanation.3.obrien is showed correctly
while file psyc.98.9.05.connectionist-explanation.2.orbach (in the same
directory with the same properties) is not recognized by the browser???
However, when the text icon is clicked the files are recognized and are
showen correctly.....

What might be the problem here ???
