squid 2.1patch1 + async IO + Irix 6.4 probs

Hi,

I tried to use squid 2.1patch1 + async IO on a
SGI with Irix 6.4. Compiling works fine (standard
irix compiler), but from time to time it generates
severe trouble on the machine. Syslog says:

Alert: ALERT: Process [squid] 21316 generated trap,
but has signal 11 held or ignored
Crit: Process has been killed to prevent infinite loop.

Any clues ?
