Currently the component owners are:
auth wessels Authentication modules
doc wessels Documentation, such as it is
feature squid-bugs@squid-cache.org Requests for new features
lib wessels Library routines
src wessels The main source tree
Which means that wessels@www.squid-cache.org will be emailed. I don't
know how much time Duane has, but I assume it's fairly limited? Perhaps
if we nominate a owner for each of the five current modules, and they
are the ones to get emailed on new bug creation. The concept being that
an individual who is a component owner is responsible for reviewing new
bugzilla entries within a preset timeframe, and either assigning to a
more relevant person, or addressing themselves. I.E. the owner of the
squid-doc project at sourceforge might be a better choice for the "doc"
component, rather than Duane.
Please don't think I'm pushing this: I'm very happy _not_ to be the
actual auth "owner" and for Duane to assign auth-related things to me
when it's appropriate. But on the other hand, delegating this sort of
thing out can be beneficial.
Thoughts?
