Good developent practice? Just because it works on my machine doesn't
mean it works on someone elses machine ..

Go enjoy it. ;-) I'm currently implementing /dev/poll support for
Solaris and Linux in the commloops branch, hopefully if I can
get something working tomorrow you lucky guys with solaris boxes can
test the code out. :)
