Add a line to your squid.conf:
access_log syslog squid
There should already be one for the regular log file
access_log /var/log/squid/access.log
And then add the syslog relayer to the rsyslog/syslog config
squid.* @remote-syslog

Subject: [squid-users] Access.log to SYSLOG
Hi, we have a logging solution that can pickup SYSLOG messages. It does not allow us to pick up a different path for logs, is there a way to pump the access.log info to SYSLOG?
