* Run some of the URLs through www.redbot.org and see if there is any
particular reason for that.
* check your configuration. Using "cache deny" will prevent storage of
responses.
* PURGE is hobbled somewhat in the presence of Vary: header. You must
specify the exact same variant conditions in your PURGE to match the
request which stored the object.
