No problem Amos I consulted the man gdb ;) and I also tried "run" in the gdb console but there is still the "No stack" message ...?

(gdb) run -NXCd9
.
.
.

(gdb) bt
No stack.
(gdb) quit

Do you need all the other stuff right from the start ?

Sorry my fault.

gdb --args squid -NCXd9
.....
(gdb) run

"bt" is after the crash to display.
