I think this may be the same as I reported as bug 2176
(http://www.squid-cache.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=2176) against 2.6
STABLE17. Is it known to be fixed in 2.7 or 3.0?. Apologies for asking -
I haven't had time yet to go through changes logs for subsequent
versions.

Please upgrade. 2.5 has been obsolete for several years.

We currently support primarily 3.0stable7, and 2.7stable3 for those who
can't upgrade to 3.0x.

Either of which is a good upgrade form 2.5.
