[squid-users] Content adaptation proxy?

Hi,
I know that squid can do content adaptation (modification) by ICAP and
there is a project on going for eCAP.
Should I wait for eCAP or start with ICAP?
I couldn't found any good documentation showing how to use XXX ICAP
server with Squid. Do any one know one?
Is there alternative proxy servers for content adaptation (modification)
purpose that do not depend on ICAP and has configurable internal systems?
