I don't know about Squid-3.0 but I remember in Squid-2.6 that compiling
with both:

'--enable-storeio=aufs,ufs,diskd,coss' and '--enable-coss-aio-ops'

caused some problems for me.

But it's just what I think. I don't have the anything to indicate this.
