i have squid 2.6 stable 5 installed and configured on debian with:
--ssl-enabled
--enable-auth="ntlm,basic,digest,negotiate"
in a transparent proxy mode. it works fine internally (intranet) and
externally, except for one thing externally: when i try to access a
password protected web page on the server (internal), i get an http
401 error. i don't want squid to authorize anybody, i just want the
webserver to do that. why does squid block this?
