Im not sure how does it works properly, but i use this variable in apache
for example, to get the IP address behind a proxy server. My IP is
200.200.200.200 and my proxy IP (my http ip for external world) is
100.100.100.100. using x-forwarded-for i could have the IP 200.200.200.200
which is behind a proxy server (the normal should be have my proxy's ip
100.100.100.100 instead).
