Then the size of your cache_dir is probably not configured correctly, or
maybe you have forgot to run periodic log rotation ("squid -k rotate").

Which isn't very much compared to the whole Internet... Squid happily
maintains a reasonable size irregardless of the amount of data available
on the web servers.
