seems you need to increase the number of your
redirect_children, its depend high or not requests
handled by your squid, if its get high and a very
small amount of processes would get squid itself very
busy, so it would be better to set it as many as squid
need it. try read the FAQ and squid.conf.default for
another tips using redirector
