write a script called i_want_to_open_squid_conf_from_anywhere.sh
with the following content (dont include the dashes) and put it
into /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin:
---------------------------
#!/bin/sh
vi /etc/squid/squid.conf
---------------------------
Now you can easily open squid.conf from anywhere by simply calling
i_want_to_open_squid_conf_from_anywhere.sh
Best regards
