[squid-users] auth_program perl script using mysql dont work?

Dear Squid users,

I am trying to write an proxy authentication perl
script authenticate2.pl that simple uses a mysql table
to verify user and password, this is the part of the
squid.conf

auth_param basic program
/usr/lib/squid/authenticate2.pl
auth_param basic realm Proxy Server
auth_param basic credentialsttl 4 hour
acl users proxy_auth REQUIRED
acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0

There is an error that I notice from cache.log,
it seems that the file authenticate2.pl does not
exist, but it does and is in the directory indicated
and it has 777 permissions,
/usr/lib/squid/authenticate2.pl

Would you please tell me what is wrong? or is it a
bug?

I would really appreciate any help,
