It is how DNS works. every DNS record has its own time to live which is
quite often 24 hours or similar value.
If DNS server fetches a record with some TTL, it will continue to use the
information for that long time. So, if you visit a website one hour before
it moves, and the TTL is 24 hours, you will continue accessing old address
for 23 hours after moving.
So, if you know your site will move, you have 2 possibilities:
- the <TTL> time before changing address to lower the TTL to short value
- remove site on old address just <TTL> time after moving to new address
So, again, this has nothing to do with proxy.
