I think there's a script or configuration on apache that sends different
content for wget than for other browsers. Seems that html output is
sent if it's requested by client, otherwise just plaintext.

That can be result of invalid content-negotiation, however it might be a bug
of squid that is not HTTP/1.1 conmpliant and doesn't cache negotiated files
correctly...
