[squid-users] Authenticacion and AD

Hi List

I've been using ldap to authenticate my users in my squid box, however,
i keep wondering if there is a better way.

My boss is asking me "not to ask login/pass" at the moment of browsing
the internet but use the "logged user info" to give them their right
privileges. I'm talking about Win clients in a WinAD Domain.

The general idea would be to gather the info of who's logged in a
particular machine at the first request, then look for the group info of
this user and then proceed normally.

Is that possible? What's the helper i need to learn to use.
