Probably there is quite a bit of changes required. For example everything
relating to authentication was majorly redone in Squid-2.5 compared with
2.4 to support more than one authentication scheme.
I seriously doubt it is worth the effort to even attempt porting this to
2.5 given that 2.5 already has the external_acl interface which has the
capability to do pretty much the same without any modifications to Squid
(you just have to write the mysql integration in any language of choice).
