[squid-users] Squid behind a Router

HI ,

I have a linux box running squid 2STABLE5 in between a local area network and
a router performing NAT.

The problem is when the users go through squid for internet access, the speeds
slow down after 10-15 minutes, but if the router is restarted, every thing
works fine for another 10-15 min.

Cache is not enabled , since squid is used mainly to see who's going where and
for restricting access.

The memory /cpu checks are normal. Also, there is nothing in the cache.log
thats unusual.

The Router is a Zyxel 624-R ADSL router.
