Perhaps 'filezilla' tries an unneeded DNS lookup which fails
because the Intranet DNS timesout on this particular lookup.
Browsers using proxy config, will not issue a DNS lookup
and use SQUID 'direct'.
Perhaps an issue related to filezilla settings and config.
