put manual entry in
/lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/modules.dep which i have
removed now

still i cant load a ip_wccp successfully i am doing
following this steps

1) put ip_wccp.c /root directory make Makefile with
following content
obj-m += ip_wccp.o

2) then go to /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-1.358/ then
make M=/root modules modules_install

then ip_wccp.ko, ip_wccp.mod.c,ip_wccp.mod.o,ip_wccp.o
files are created in /root directory

3) depmod -a
4) then in /root directory modprobe ip_wccp

i get following error modprobe ip_wccp

FATAL: Module ip_wccp not found.

module is automatically copied to
/lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358custom/extra/ip_wccp.ko
