RE: [squid-users] port problem

This is output of cache.log
Accepting HTTP connections at 0.0.0.0, port 3128, FD 12

And telnet localhost 3128 is accepted.

The strange thing is that squid does not respond from other client on
port 3128.
When I changed the port to 8090 it works.

  - What does cache.log have to say about the designated port when SQUID
starts ?
  - In the problem case what gives ? :

          % telnet squid_host 3128
