Yes. We can store and see the squid generated debug and error messages on the syslog. It can be done by executing the squid with -s
option or running the RunCache script.

We cannot store or see access.log informations in the syslog files.Because access.log is a file which contains the http request
access informations not the service startup or error failure messages. We cannot store that informations in the remote machine as
well as in any of machine's syslog including local machine.
