[squid-users] Why is squid passing garbage

Hello peeps

I've an external basic authenticator written in perl but squid is
sometimes passing garbage as user to my script. Any ideas why..

My custom authenticator logs show
Wed Apr 21 20:01:16 2004 - User ÐÊ‹

08 does not exist
