[squid-users] HTTP Stat code - 413 Request Entity Too Large

I'm having trouble with posting files over a certain size and am seeing the
following errors in the access.log:

1082078376.153 34 ipofclient NONE/413 1300 POST
http://ipofserver/admin/topic.cgi - NONE/- -
1082078376.236 2 ipofclient NONE/413 1300 POST
http://ipofserver/admin/topic.cgi - NONE/- -

My reading of this is that it is rejecting the post becasue it is too large
(makes sense as that is what I'm seeing) but I don't think I'm blocking
anything based on size (request_size is not set in the squid.conf which I
thought meant there is no size limit).

This is on an older version of squid (2.3.STABLE4) but upgrading would not
be easy at this time and it works great for everything else.

Any ideas as to what to check or any other advice happily accepted.
