[squid-users] Low File Descriptor

All,

My Squid serves around 20 req / seconds. I set it to have 2048 of File
Descriptor. Sometimes it suddenly drop
to bottom limit and cache.log send "WARNING! Your cache is running out of
filedescriptors"

Would you tell me the cause of low File Descriptor? How can I refresh the FD
without restart Squid?

Please advise. Your answer is very appreciated.
