[squid-users] authetication problems

hi all

i'm running squid 2.4 stable6 on redhat 7.3 2.96-126 and every two to
three weeks, certain users cannot authenticate via their browsers. If i
use the ncsa_auth command on the server to test thier usernames and
passwds the authetication works fine...but via the browser it does not.
problem is also not browser related as it happens on many browser types....

the odd thing is that is it affecting only some users.....and after a
few minutes, they can autheticate.

any ideas?
