Dear All,
in order to have my linux box a proxy server i have to configure and enable the squid service. anyway i have nop problem doing such configuration - i guess -
but im still facing some kind of problems, like users who are connected through the squid are not able to start msn messenger or yahoo messenger or having any voice or vedio chats. some of web sites are not opening such as www.hotmail.com . fo some websites which requiers authentication its also not working such as putting the user name and password for the yahoo mail or any other web based email service. the linux server is having 2 network cards one is connected directly to the internet ( NO FIREWALLS or anything ) and the other one is connected to the office LAN. i used to have the same setup on an ISA server and everything was working very fine.
any help will be highly appreciated.
